In this role, you will be responsible for driving our Trane Intelligent Services strategy through developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention with building owners. The Intelligent Services Account Manager may also be a subject matter expert in Controls and Intelligent Services offerings to support work to internal and external customers.
What you will do: - Link our Intelligent Services offerings with our Customer for Life strategy. Identify potential opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Controls Service Agreement base; quantify and target opportunities based on deep customer knowledge.
- Gather and validate preliminary information and perform facility walkthrough, construction plan review or other requirements.
- Determine project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet all of the customer’s HVAC system design and installation requirements.
- Develop and execute an account specific business plan to identify the long-term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership.
- Meet or exceed gross margin requirements.
- Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
What you will bring: - 4+ years of demonstrated experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) of Science degree.
- 2+ years of solution selling experience.
- Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. within 1 Year Required
