Trane in [Customize location] ______ is hiring for an Associate Account Manager in Comprehensive Solutions to join our team. In this entry level sales position, you will be responsible to learn the overall Comprehensive Solutions (CS) portfolio and assist the Senior Business Development Managers in their day to day sales activities.


 

What you will do:

  • Train under the existing Comprehensive Solutions (CS) Senior Business Development Managers.
  • Develop a basic understanding of the Vertical Markets, Strategies and Comprehensive Solutions provided by the CS Team.
  • Assist on sales calls.
  • Provide assistance to CS team with writing proposals.
  • Assist in developing the reasons to engage for “C” level introduction meetings by extensive researching of: The prospective customer’s capital and operating budgets; past board, council meeting minutes and future meeting agendas; LinkedIn research of key contact individuals; prospective customer’s web site looking for KBIs, KPIs and critical success factors; credit worthiness, and potential grants available.
  • Assist on preliminary engineering site walks of customer sites and proposal development
  • Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.


 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply;  we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
